Full Description

Both vitamins D3 and K2 are essential to the body's function and overall health. Vitamin D3 aids in absorbing calcium and phosphorus, which are essential for bone formation and maintenance.

In addition to supporting the development of strong bones, Vitamin K2 may also benefit the cardiovascular system since it may promote healthy blood clotting.

Ingredients: Calcium (as Calcium Carbonate), Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), Vitamin K2 (mk-7)(as Menaquinone), BioPerine (Black Pepper Fruit Extract), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Hypromellose (vegetable capsule).

Manufacturer Country: USA

Product Amount: 60 caps

Gross Weight: 2.6 oz / 0.16 lb / 73 g

Suggested Use: Take one (1) capsule twice a day as a dietary supplement. For best results, take 20-30 min before a meal or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Caution: Do not exceed recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under the age of 18, and individuals with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement.

Warning: Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.

Kidney and Transplant Considerations:

This product contains Calcium, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2, and BioPerine (Black Pepper Extract), each requiring attention for kidney and transplant patients:

BioPerine (Black Pepper Extract): May affect how the body processes certain anti-rejection medications, including tacrolimus and cyclosporine. Transplant recipients should consult their transplant team before use.

Calcium (as Calcium Carbonate): Kidney disease and dialysis patients often manage calcium levels carefully, and calcium carbonate is sometimes prescribed as a phosphate binder. Additional calcium supplementation should only be started under your nephrologist's or renal dietitian's guidance.

Vitamin D3: Transplant and CKD patients frequently need vitamin D, but levels must be monitored, combined with added calcium, there is a risk of elevated blood calcium (hypercalcemia).

Vitamin K2: If you take a blood thinner such as warfarin, Vitamin K2 can interfere with its effectiveness. Consult your care team before use if you are on anticoagulant therapy.

What's inside

Four active ingredients. No proprietary blend.

Calcium (Carbonate)

210 mg · 16% DV

The mineral your bones and arteries compete for. Vitamin K2 directs it where it belongs — your skeleton, not your soft tissues.

Kidney note Calcium balance is delicate in kidney disease. Discuss your current dietary intake with your care team before adding a supplement.

Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol)

125 mcg · 625% DV

The version your body actually uses. Improves calcium absorption and supports bone formation and immune function.

Kidney note Many kidney patients are deficient. Have your nephrologist check your D3 levels and confirm this dosage works for you.

Vitamin K2 (MK-7)

100 mcg

The traffic cop. Directs calcium into bone tissue and away from arterial walls. Sourced as menaquinone from natural fermentation.

Kidney note If you take warfarin (Coumadin) or any other blood thinner, do NOT use this product without physician approval. Vitamin K affects how these medications work.

BioPerine® Black Pepper

5 mg

Patented black pepper fruit extract that increases the bioavailability of fat-soluble nutrients like K2 and D3.

Kidney note Generally well-tolerated. Mention to your care team if you take medications metabolized through the liver, as black pepper can affect absorption.

Questions about this product

Frequently asked.

Can I take this if I am on warfarin or a blood thinner?

This product contains Vitamin K2, which can affect blood thinners such as warfarin. Do not use it unless your physician has approved it. We strongly recommend reviewing the ingredient list with your care team before starting.

Why does this include both D3 and K2?

D3 and K2 are both fat-soluble vitamins that work synergistically. D3 improves calcium absorption from the digestive tract; K2 then helps direct that calcium into bone tissue rather than soft tissue like arteries. Take with a meal containing some fat for best absorption.

Is the calcium suitable for CKD patients?

Calcium needs careful management in kidney disease. Please discuss this product with your nephrologist before use, especially if you already take a calcium-based phosphate binder or if your dietary calcium is high.

Are there allergens in this product?

This product is made without gluten and lactose, and with no added hormones. Always read the full label for your specific dietary needs.
