Frequently asked.
Can I take this if I am on warfarin or a blood thinner?
This product contains Vitamin K2, which can affect blood thinners such as warfarin. Do not use it unless your physician has approved it. We strongly recommend reviewing the ingredient list with your care team before starting.
Why does this include both D3 and K2?
D3 and K2 are both fat-soluble vitamins that work synergistically. D3 improves calcium absorption from the digestive tract; K2 then helps direct that calcium into bone tissue rather than soft tissue like arteries. Take with a meal containing some fat for best absorption.
Is the calcium suitable for CKD patients?
Calcium needs careful management in kidney disease. Please discuss this product with your nephrologist before use, especially if you already take a calcium-based phosphate binder or if your dietary calcium is high.
Are there allergens in this product?
This product is made without gluten and lactose, and with no added hormones. Always read the full label for your specific dietary needs.
